p1. Aspen Package Line Redesign: Boise Cascade wanted a stronger prescence in the recycled paper category. The recycled symbol and post-consumer content were top priority.
Mountain imagery supports the Aspen sub-brand, along with a very streamlined composition to help the shopper differentiate between printer type and post-consumer content. The large centered recycle symbol draws the eye in. The result is a clean, more impactful and modern design in the paper aisle.
p2: Exploratory: Pictured are a few of the original concepts, also placed within a shelf set to help the client evaluate the designs against the competition. Presenting the concepts in-context helped Boise consider their decisions outside of a vacuum, since research was not a part of this process.
